THE STUDIO
The work you create defines your voice.
Say something that matters.
We're not interested in making content just to have something to post. We're interested in building a brand that's actually yours, authentic, honest, and built to hold up over time.
That starts with understanding what your business needs, not what's trending. Your goals are different from the next business's, your budget is different too, and the work should reflect that instead of following a template. No Name is a small, independent studio based in Hobart, and we'd genuinely rather turn down a job that isn't the right fit than churn out content that doesn't serve you.
How we work with you.
A process designed for an adventure
Curiosity
We sit down, we listen, and we get to know your world. Your audience, your goals, the stuff that doesn't fit in a brief template.
Explore
We explore creative directions grounded in strategy, not trend-chasing. Real ideas with a real point of view and built to be sustainable.
Craftsmanship
We build, shoot, design, edit, and craft with care. Every decision is considered. Details matter at every scale.
Deliver
We hand over work that is built to live in the world, and relationships that continue beyond the project.
Why a rabbit?
Inspired by the spirit of a wild rabbit, curious, observant and always moving forward our mark represents the way we work.
We explore. We experiment. We look beyond the obvious because that’s where the strongest stories are found. For us, curiosity isn’t just a word. It’s the reason we ask one more question, try one more idea and push a project further than expected.
And there’s a bit of Tasmania in it too. European rabbits are considered a pest here, and with German parents and a life now rooted in Tasmania, somehow it just felt right.
The rabbit isn’t our mascot. It’s a symbol of curiosity, exploration and the refusal to settle for ordinary.
Meet the Founder
Benjamin Freudenmann
Founder, Creative Director
I grew up moving. My family travelled the world, and somewhere between countries I picked up a camera and never really put it down. What began as a hobby and creative outlet became the thing I do for a living, making work that means something and tells a story.
I have run my own business for the past seven years, though it has changed shape a few times. It started as a wedding videography studio on the Sunshine Coast. Three years in, I moved into commercial work with local tourism and hospitality operators, which led to campaigns for Tourism Noosa and Tourism and Events Queensland, travelling the state making content for people who needed visitors to feel something before they booked. That work taught me how to tell a story at scale, and it is the same thinking I bring to every Tasmanian business I work with now.
We moved south in 2021 to be closer to family and to be around for my nieces and nephews. We fell for Tasmania fast. It is considered and unhurried here, and that suits the way I like to work.
These days I live in Oakdowns with my wife and our dog, Mable. When I am not shooting I am hiking, camping, or building something with my hands.
Meeting the people behind Tasmanian businesses is what turned No Name Creative from a video and photo brand into a full creative studio. Most small businesses do not need one more thing to manage. They need someone who sees the whole picture, the brand, the story, the film, and the way it all has to work together.
